D'Arros Island Development
Project Overview
TechMEPi Engineering supervised specialized MEP engineering solutions across the D'Arros Island Development in Seychelles — one of the most demanding environments a building-services engineer can work in. Every system had to be designed for coastal salt-laden air, remote-island logistics and long-term reliability with limited access to spare parts.
Scope of work
- Industrial HVAC systems — design supervision, installation and commissioning
- Advanced air-conditioning installations across resort facilities
- Heat-pump hot-water generation with buffer storage
- Specialist wellness installations, including spa and cryotherapy facilities
Engineering for a remote coastal site
Remote-island projects amplify every design decision. Equipment selections prioritised corrosion resistance and serviceability; hydraulic layouts were validated before shipping; and commissioning was planned so systems could be proven with the resources available on the island.
The result is a set of building services engineered for optimal performance, energy efficiency and long-term reliability — delivered to international standards.
