Our Story

Engineering the built environment for over 18 years

TechMEPi Engineering is a professional engineering firm specialising in MEP — mechanical, electrical and plumbing — building services. With more than 18 years of proven experience, we design, supervise and deliver the systems that buildings depend on every day.

Our work spans six countries — Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Seychelles, Rwanda and Mauritius — across the commercial, industrial, hospitality, residential and healthcare sectors. From city hospitals to remote island resorts, we engineer for the environment each building lives in.

We work digitally from the first line. BIM modelling in Autodesk Revit, CFD simulation and hydraulic analysis let us coordinate, test and prove designs before construction begins — fewer errors on site, faster delivery, better buildings.

Principal Building Services Engineer & Project Manager

Eng. Francis Wanjohi is a Registered Professional Engineer with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management Professional certification. He has led mechanical building services design and delivery for more than 18 years, across every sector we serve.

Fluent in English and Kiswahili, he is proficient in BIM with Autodesk Revit, CFD simulation and hydraulic analysis — bringing a digital-first, standards-driven discipline to every project TechMEPi undertakes.
